NERIM Group of Institutions is a group of Colleges established in the year 1992 by NERIM Educational Society with a view to promote specialized professional education in the North Eastern Region of the Country. These Institutions are affiliated to Dibrugarh University, ASTU and Gauhati University for their various courses. The Department of Technical Education, Government of Assam initially extended its active support for the establishment of this Institution with a viewto promote skill based professional education in this part of the country.

NERIM has six separate well furnished hostels for Boys and Girls with transportation facility to and fro between respective hostels & NERIM campus.

NERIM provides Placement Assistance to all the students enrolled in different programmes of the Institute. This includes placement for both in-plant training

NERIM is currently operating from three premises namely, Padma Nath Sarmah Bhawan at Beltola, Parukutty Bhawan at Nabin Nagar and MDRCC at Mangala Nagar

NERIM is the only Nodal Center of All India Management Association (AIMA) and Partner institute of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)
