ABOUT THE COURSE
Masters Degree in Computer Application (MCA)
3-year Full Time Course is an attempt to synchronize the newest developments
in Information Technology with the current Industry Requirements.
The Course is affiliated to Dibrugarh University and is approved by
AICTE,MHRD,Govt. of India.
OBJECTIVES
MCA is a course exclusively designed to meet the IT requirements of
IT trained students for various organization. The programme is extremely
balanced with lot of emphasis given on planning, designing and building
of complex commercial application software and system software, with
equal importance given to functional knowledge in various areas. The
three year full time MCA course is not just a post graduate course,
it is a complete professional grooming of the students for successful
career in IT industry.The programme is intended to have the following
objected :

To enable a proven level of mastery
in the Operating Systems, Programming Languages, Rapid Application
Development (RAD) tools, and application package that are in extensive
use in the industry. |

Technological applications. |

practices. |
5. |
To develop all - round personality
and communicative traits to meet the expectations of employees

AFFILIATION & APPROVAL
The 3 year full time MCA programme at NERIM School of Computer Science
is conducted as per the prescribed regulations and syllabi of Dibrugarh
University. The course is also approved by the All India Council for
Technical Education (AICTE), MHRD, Govt. of India.

APPROVAL & AFFILIATION
The MCA course is conducted by the institute under the approved syllabi
and regulations of Dibrugarh University.
MCA Course Structure
As per regulation of Dibrugarh University, the 3 Years Full Time MCA
Programme consist of six semesters of six months duration each having
two semesters per year. In addition to compulsory papers, the students
are offered to select three electives in fourth and fifth semester
of the programme. However in the sixth semester the students shall
be required to undertake a Project Work.
